"In the case of continental drift, it took almost 70 years to accept the evidence, and allow the science to proceed."Anthropogenic Climate Change is based on basic science well over a century old and with good evidence to support current warming is caused by it for a few generations. Thankfully it hasn't taken the scientific community as long to accept it as it did continental drift. We can only hope that it will not take Goddard and his cronies much longer.

He is a numbskull. It was the procession of science on tectonics-slow as it may have been- that accepted the evidence on continental drift,not the bleating lobbying of incompetent ideologues outside the field.
